Yahaya Yaradua who is the Chairman of Kwara State Teqball Team has thanked Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim for his financial support for his players at the National Sports Festival in Asaba.
Attahiru who recently resigned as Special Adviser to Governor Abdulrahman on Sports was happy to see the State’s Teqball team participating in demonstration games in Asaba and decided to assist the team financially.
While confirming getting the credit alert from Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim, Yaradua was unable to contain his joy claiming that the assistance from the Talba Samari of Patigi land came at a very appropriate time.
“I must confess that Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim has made my day by supporting me and my boys financially and I want to thank him for this incredible gesture.” the former President of the Kwara State All Stars explained.
While reacting, Alhaji Attahiru Ibrahim made it clear that he will continue to support and contribute immensely to the development of Sports in Kwara State.
He stressed that his decision to resign as Special Adviser will not change or stop him from helping those in Kwara Sports.
Meanwhile, Yaradua, Coach Sheriff Kekere and their wards have won total of six golds at the Teqball demonstration games at the 2022 National Sports Festival in Asaba.
