Rangers International F.C of Enugu commenced its training activities for the soon to kick start 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Monday, July 17, 2023, under the watch of coach Fidelis Ilechukwu who was recently unveiled as the club’s new technical adviser.
Most of the retained players and a few new ones reported for the evening session that saw the coach being introduced to the players and officials that he would be working in the coming season.
Coach Ilechukwu, in a short address to the players, charged them to come up with their best professional acts to help the club achieve its set target stressing that he abhors indiscipline, tribalism, and every negative act that will work against the collective aims of the club but builds his team on meritocracy.
“Talent is nothing without discipline, so I urge you guys to come up with your best in both training sessions and matches for us to deliver the goods together as a team. I am here because I want to achieve and only those with the same mentality can get along,” stated the former M.F.M, Heartland, and Plateau United tactician.
