Daniel Ogunmodede, head coach of Remo Stars is feeling ecstatic following his team’s opening league game win against El Kanemi Warriors yesterday in Ikenne.
The tactician is delighted because the team have started the season well which is the most important, Sports247.ng writes.
“We are aware that it’s a test match for us, first match of the season after a very long time, the boys are overexcited, they want to impress, they are so overzealous,” Ogunmodede said
“You could see that in the early hours of the game, we had lots of chances and we squandered them.”
“Fortunately, we got the first goal in the first half and the second lately in the second half but nevertheless most importantly for the league is getting the needed three points.”
Remo Stars will be back in midweek action and Ogunmodede has revealed that he will consider fatigue after recovery tomorrow.
“In the game, it was obvious that some of them are a bit fatigued. Like I told you, pressure, anxiety can bring fatigue and it’s expected but we are going to manage the situation by tomorrow when they have thier recovery,” he explained.
