MFM FC captain, Adeyinka Najeem has declared that his side will play in a CAF competition next season.
Najeem captained the Olukoya Boys to their first win of the season and their first win over Warri Wolves in 5 attempts on Sunday.
Speaking with Sports247 in an interview, Najeem said the team feels different.
“The team feels different from last season. We are going to play CAF competitions next season by God’s grace. We are aiming to finish in the top 4 at the end of the season.”
Najeem also expressed excitement that the team is able to start their season with a victory.
“I am very happy we won. It’s our first game and our first home game, it is very important that we pick this point.”
Early goals from Ebenezer Odeyemi and Muyiwa Balogun gave MFM a 2-1 win over Wolves in one of the opening counters of the 2020/21 NPFL season.
