MFM head coach, Tony Boulus has heaped praises on the League Management Company, LMC for making sure the NPFL returned to action.
The league had been on a 9 months break since March after it was abruptly canceled due to the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
While being quizzed after his side’s first win over Warri Wolves and the season’s first win, Boulus said he was happy to be back.
“Very happy, very very happy. 9 months is a very long time to sit down at home not doing anything. Kudos to the LMC for making sure the league resumed.”
The league finally restarted on Sunday, 27th December with 6 games being played in different match center to kick start the season.
