Kano Pillars have confirmed the signing of Super Eagles players Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi for the 2024/2025 season.
This was announced on their social media page “”We can confirm that an agreement in principle has been reached with Super Eagles players, captain, Ahmed Musa MON, OON and Shehu Abdullahi to join up with us for the 2024/25 football season. Both players have been included in the squad for our match against Sunshine Stars on Sunday”

Ahmed Musa, now 31, is rejoining the club for the third time, having initially played for Kano Pillars during the 2009/10 season, where he finished as the NPFL’s top scorer with 18 goals.
After a successful career in Europe with clubs like Leicester City and CSKA Moscow, and in Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr, Musa’s experience is expected to provide a significant boost to the team.
Shehu Abdullahi, also 31, last played for Pillars in 2012. Having spent much of his career in Europe, with stints in Turkey and Cyprus, Abdullahi will add defensive strength to the squad. He has been without a club since leaving Levski Sofia in 2022.
Their signings are seen as key additions as Pillars look to challenge in the NPFL this season.
