Promising Kwara United defender Taiwo Salaudeen has resumed training three months after sustaining a knee injury against Adamawa United.
The youngster who is one of the best right backs in the Nigerian topflight got injured on March 21 while featuring for Kwara United in their perfect 5-0 win over Adamawa.
Since then, the graduate of Football College Abuja has been receiving treatments in the hospital in Ilorin and Kaduna before being certified fit to train on Friday evening, June 25.
While speaking with Kwara United Media about the latest development, Taiwo Salaudeen who has featured in 17 NPFL games this season expressed happiness to return to the pitch.
He thanked Kwara United Management, coaching crew, teammates and fans for the love and care shown to him during his recuperating periods.
The 23-year-old also wished his teammates the best of luck in their NPFL encounter against Sunshine Stars on Sunday.
“I am happy to return to training and I want to thank everyone most especially Kwara United Management and my coaches for the care.
“I don’t have enough strength now to play, but with time, I will be back fully as I wish my teammates success in our game tomorrow against Sunshine Stars,” Salaudeen explained.
Since Taiwo Salaudeen got injured, Kabiru Balogun has been playing in the right full back position and he has been superb for the Harmony Boys.
