The former Enyimba FC Stricker Wasiu Alalade has revealed that scoring for his team Kwara United is important to securing the continental
“The season has been good and very interesting for me and the entire team. As you can see we are getting points at away and home. If we can all the log the difference between us and the second position is three points so the continental tickets is sure.”
Alalade believes anything can still happen in the league as Kwara United can still be crowned the champions of NPFL 21.
“Winning the league is not going to be a bad idea because the league is still open for any of the first six positions on the NPFL log and I believe Kwara United is also a favorite and we can do it.”
The prolific goal poacher is very happy with his form and believes this can increase his confidence.
“I’m glad and happy to come back at my best and I’m born to score goals which are my duty as a striker. I already have five goals though not easy I’m definitely yearning for more goals because scoring goals is important to our continental ambitions”
“I will love to give kudos to my teammates and the backroom staff generally on my performance so far. Scoring more goals has always been my target which I will continue doing.”
