Ondo state Commissioner, Youths Development and sports, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye has commended players of Sunshine stars for putting up a good fight in a matchday 32 tie of the elite league against shootings stars Fc.

Ogunleye who was at the Lekan Salami stadium Ibadan to watch the tie said the players gave their all but the result did not reflect the efforts put up by his team .
The sports commissioner further rued missed chances in the first 45 minutes of the game.
” I’m pleased with performance of the boys , though it’s not the result we wanted but we will keep fighting until the last day of the league ”
Ogunleye said shooting stars were lucky not to have conceeded atleast two goals in the early minutes of the game .
” Our team dominated and for the better part of the game we were dictating the pace of the game, but that’s football for you , things like that happens, our position on the log isnt good but we will keep fighting, i must also commend the match officials too, they were fair ”
Sunshine stars next match is a round of 64 tie against Jedo academy at the federal capital city .
