Plateau United, Following their 1-0 victory over Nasarawa United on Sunday matchday 15 in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Have been rewarded with a total amount of N2m bonus.
Each of the 20 Plateau United players who took part in the match went home with N100,000 each.
This was in fulfillment of a promise before the match kick-off by the club’s General Manager, Pius Henwan.
Plateau United now sits third in Group B, two points ahead of Akwa United who has a game in hand. Up next is Kwara United at the Akure Sports Complex.
Nasarawa United who are still pushing to move out of the red zone in Group ‘A’ will host Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan in their next game on Sunday, 29th April 2023.
Before then, the team will travel to Minna, Niger State, for a round of 64 National Federation Cup tie against Kebbi United on Wednesday, 26th April 2023.
