Enyimba intl fc diminutive midfielder Chukwuka Onuwa has once again proved his words with action after scoring the only goal that sealed a win for his team Enyimba FC in a week eight of NPFL match against visiting Remo Stars FC at the Enyimba FC stadium Aba.
The player who came in the 80th minutes and got the ball from half of the pitch and made a long tailored pass to Mustapha Ibrahim who took on a defender and laid a pass to onrushing Onuwa who tapped in the ball in the midst of Remo stars defenders in the 87th minutes to seal victory for his side and put Enyimba fc fans off their seats.
The Delta state born midfielder in his words, “I came to Enyimba Football Club to play football and anytime am called upon by my coach I will contribute my best to the team”.
The player who is one of the newly signed players in the team also used the opportunity to thank Aba fans for their massive support, ‘ Honestly, I am touched with massive support from the fans with just weeks with the club, it is just massive and it will always spur me to do more for the team.”
The player who is fondly called MAGIC 10 had been christened OBELE by the fans who chanted his name on Sunday and singing songs with his name.
The former MFM FC player is very optimistic that his new team Enyimba Football Club will get off the stormy period and get it right as the team coaches are also working very hard to make ensure they get the desired results,. ‘ I know I am very new in the team and still trying to settle down to the playing pattern but anytime I am called upon to play, I will givet my 100%.
