Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC utility player, Emiloju Julius believes the Olukoya Boys have all it takes pull off a result against Enugu Rangers this weekend in Enugu.
MFM FC will face the Flying Antelopes this Sunday in one of Matchday 16 fixtures of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) billed to hold at the Cathedral with the sole aim of recording only their second away success this season.
Despite the hosts good run of form in the Nigerian top league, Emiloju still maintained that the Lagos-based team can do a double against the seven-time NPFL champions.
“Rangers is just like every other NPFL team. I don’t see anything special in the team. So our game against them will just be like every other NPFL match.
“We know how to play Rangers, if you look at the statistics you will realize that it has always been a tight contest for both of us.
“I believe we have all it takes to crush them at home. We are very confident. Being the only team that have beaten them this season. I think we can do it again in Enugu,” he told MFM FC Media.
This meeting will be the seventh between the two teams. The hosts and the visitors won two, lost two and drew two. In all of the meetings, Rangers scored five goal, one more than MFM and conceded four goals.
The Enugu-based who have been in terrific form this season are sitting comfortably at the top of the NPFL Group A log with 28 points, four points above Enyimba and MFM who are second and third respectively.
