Members of the NPFL Media Officers Forum write to pass our deepest condolences to Remo Stars FC on the sad passing away of Tiyamiyu Kazeem ‘Kaka’.
It was with great sadness that we learned of Kaka’s avoidable death while reported to be under the arrest of SARS operatives in Ogun State on Saturday.
The Forum is pained that the life and dreams of another young footballer with a real zest for life is regrettably cut short in cold blood.
Our heartfelt condolences also go to the late Kaka’s loved ones and the entire football family in Nigeria who have again demonstrated that injury to one is felt by all.
The Forum also hereby joins its voice with others calling for a thorough investigation of the circumstances leading to Kaka’s death, with a view of getting justice for the deceased.
