The NPFL Media Officers Forum write to register our sadness and heartfelt condolences to Nasarawa United over Sunday’s painful death of Chineme Martins.
Our members were completely devastated and heartbroken upon confirmation of Martins’ demise following his slumping on the field of play.
At this time, our prayers and thoughts are with the immediate family of the deceased, the entire Nasarawa United set up which include our President, Amos Eche.
In conclusion, we urge Clubs and other stakeholders to fully provide essential medical requirements on match days and training sessions in order to do everything humanly possible while guarding against similar occurence in the future.
