Abia Warriors Football Club extended their home Invincibility in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League with a routine 1-0 victory over their neighbours, Enugu Rangers International FC in a Match Day 10 game played at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

It was an encounter that lived up to its billing as the spectators sat at the edges of their seats watching the explosive, entertaining, intriguing, and captivating oriental battle.
Spectators were still making their way into the arena when Collins Nwoburuoke nodded the Warriors ahead with the game only two minutes old for what later proved to be the winner following a well-tailored corner kick from Emmanuel Onu.
