Kano Pillars striker, Junior Lokosa has disclosed that he and his colleagues are already planning on getting a better season in the coming contest of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Lokosa, who emerged top scorer in last season’s truncated campaign, told sports247.ng that the City of Groundnut Pyramids club will not in any way play second fiddle in the upcoming season.
Rather than allow other clubs push them around, Lokosa said Sai Masu Gida will fight tooth and nail to reclaim the title they once won three times in a stretch.
The former First Bank FC of Lagos hitman also assured fans of Kano Pillars fans that all the players will put in more efforts and work harder, in order to ensure they make the supporters happy.
Lokosa noted: “We have not won any major trophy in the past years, so we’re working really hard to achieve something different when the new season kick starts.”
