NPFL: Late Preparations Affected the Team’s Performance Throughout the Campaign – Kwara United Chairman

The chairman of Kwara United, Kunbi Clement Titiloye, has disclosed the cause of the team’s underwhelming performance in the 2023–24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Late planning, according to Titiloye, had an impact on the team’s performance all season long.

He also pointed out that the players failed to adjust to playing on the natural grass of the Kwara State Sports Complex In Ilorin.

Kwara United returned to their home ground at the start of the 2023-24 NPFL season after playing three seasons away from Ilorin due to unplayable conditions of their pitch.

In order to improve on the knowledge gained from the previous season, Titiloye promised that preparations would start right away for the next one.

Kwara United on Sunday rounded up their campaign in the 2023/24 NPFL season with a commanding 4-0 annihilation of Heartland to the delight of the Kwara fans.

At the outgone NPFL season, Kwara United finished the campaign as 13th best with 51 points.
