NPFL: Kwara Utd To Resume On July 15 As Top Players Show Interest To Join The Team

Kwara United have announced July 15 as the resumption date for players and the coaching crew as the club’s management gears up preparation for next NPFL season.

At the outgone NPFL term, the Harmony Boys finished as 13th best on the final standings and gave their fans a sweet gift in their last game in Ilorin beating Heartland 4-0.

In a statement issued in Ilorin on Monday by the General Manager of Kwara United, Bashir Badawiy, he made it clear that the Chairman of the club, Kumbi Titiloye, has approved July 15 for the club to assemble again.

“My Chairman has approved that we resume on July 15 so as for us to hit the ground running ahead of our campaign in the League.

“We as management are doing everything possible for us to have a good campaign in the coming season and we want to thank all our fans for the love and support even as we need everyone for us to succeed together next season.” Badawiy explained.

Top players in the NPFL have however been showing interest to play for Kwara United as Coach Dogo and his crew are expected to do thorough screening and have the best legs for the coming NPFL season.

Kwara United would also be participating in this year’s edition of the Value Jet Preseason tournament which will be held in Ikenne.
