After the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season ended, Kano Pillars have embarked on a two-week break.

Kano Pillars defeated the Lobi Stars 3-2 in Sunday’s NPFL season finale.
In a press statement on Monday, Kano Pillars revealed the news.
Alhaji Babangida Umar Little, the club’s chairman, expressed gratitude for the team’s success.
The chairman said that the break which commences on Monday June 23rd will avail the players time to rest and prepare for the new season.
He went on to say that only the retained players be welcomed back into the team.
Kano Pillars collected 52 points from 38 games to complete the season in 11th place.
