The decision, aimed at kick-starting preparations for the upcoming season and the impending continental tournament in August, comes after a demanding season that warranted a brief break for the players.
On the break and resumption, Ilechukwu said, “It was a needed break for the footballers after a lengthy season that was energy-sapping, even when more time would have been given.”
“We can’t do that as we have to kick-start preparation for the continental competition that is scheduled to start in August. Returning early is a sacrifice we must make to realize our set target for the coming season.”
Furthermore, Rangers management has completed all requisite paperwork for their participation in the prestigious club championship in Africa. The club is now awaiting approval of their club licensing certificate from CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, essential for their continental campaign.
With a clear focus on their targets for the forthcoming season, Rangers International is leaving no stone unturned in their quest for success, demonstrating a strong commitment to competitiveness both domestically and on the continental stage.
