Enyimba coach Usman Abd’Allah was not pleased with his players’ attitude in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Wikki Tourist at the Aba Township stadium, Sport247 reports.
Usman who watched his side struggle to dispatch the relegation threatened side laments about the attitude of his lads after the draw.
“This is the match I am very, very disappointed with. It is not (with) the result but it’s (with) the attitude. There was no tactical discipline.
“When it comes to teams like that we keep taking everything for granted. We underrated the boys (Wikki Tourists). It’s not the first time, it’s been happening with this team.
“The match was in our hands but we just threw it. It’s just unfortunate, but all the same, we are still hanging around.”
Enyimba also played a goalless draw with Bendel Insurance at the Aba Township Stadium in April.
However, the former Kano Pillars assistant coach believes qualifying for the playoff will be difficult but he’s sure his side will scale through.
“It’s going to be difficult (playoff qualification). We could have made it easy for us but we’ve been in this situation before and we came over it. I’m sure we’ll come over it.
“That goal that we need to qualify at the end of the season, we will attain it.
Enyimba who play away to Remo Stars in their next league game currently occupy the final playoff spot with 29 points.
