EX- Nigeria international veteran goalkeeper, formerly of Kwara stars, Dele Aiyenugba has joined Kwara United ahead of the new upcoming NPFL season in a bid to push for the title.
The 36-year-old who made 17 appearances for the Super Eagles has decided to come back home after several lucrative moves abroad to the Nigerian club led by Abdullahi Biffo ahead of the upcoming NPFL 2020/2021 season as they look to finish on a high.
The four-times NPFL winner with Enyimba professed about his return to the Kwara based club:
“Kwara is my home and I am here to give my best to Kwara United and also sports loving people who are in this state,” Aiyenugba explained.
Ayenugba has won the CAF Champions League twice between 2003 and 2004 with two African Super Cup in 2004, 2005 respectively before joining the People’s Elephant in 2007 for a big move to Bnei Yehuda.
