Bendel Insurance has expressed dissatisfaction with the result of their season-ending matchup with Bayelsa United in the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

On Sunday, the visitors stunned the Benin Arsenals by winning 2-0 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin.
In the match, Bayelsa United scored goals through Okorie Ekeson and Tekena Garando.
Bendel Insurance said that the team had a bad experience with the loss.
The team said on its X account, “We had a bad experience on the final day of the Premier League football season in Benin.”
“We are sick with a very dull period in the camp after losing 2-0 to a Bayelsa United team that is threatened with relegation.”
