Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has fix a new date for Akwa Utd vs Bendel Insurance FC as CHAN Super Eagles begins Camping Sports247 reports.

The match day 16 fixture was initially scheduled for Sunday, December 8,2024 at the same Goodwill Akpabio Stadium Uyo before the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) announced the changes in the fixtures across the board on Tuesday.
The rearrangement was contained in a letter dated Tuesday, 3rd December, 2024 and signed by Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the NPFL.
The change of date is as a result of the CAF Confederation Cup match between Enyimba FC and Zamalek SC of Egypt which is scheduled to hold on Sunday at the same Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Meanwhile, the majority of the clubs will be missing key players who are already gathered in Ikenne ahead of the 2024 CHAN qualifier between Nigeria and Ghana due for later in the month.
The home based Eagles are in camp at Ikenne Remo,Ogun state intensifying preparations ahead of the two legged playoffs under the watchful eyes of coach Augustine Eguavoen for the CHAN qualifiers.
A total of 32 players by the ageless Rabiu Ali will be negotiating a return for the Super Eagles to the competition designed for players based in their home country as the last featured in the 2018 edition where they lost to the host, Morocco by 4-0 in the final.
