Shooting Stars coach Gbenga Ogunbote has described his team 1-0 loss to Katsina United FC as unfortunate after Conceding 90+7 minutes goal Sports247 reports.
Katsina United defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 on the match day 28 match played on Friday at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium via Ahmed Abdul Taofeek strike, seven minutes deep into stoppage time.
Coach Ogunbote believe his boys ran out of luck in the match after putting so much to get at least a point considering the fact that they arrived the venue of the match twenty four hours to the kick off and the boys have to cope with fatigue through out the duration of the match.
In his post match reaction after the loss Ogunbote bear his mind to newsmen on ground.
” It’s unfortunate that we lost the match at the last minute.”
” The boys did put out up their best, and did very well, considering what we face, we came here yesterday and the boys can’t really expressed themselves , they are fatigue.”
Shooting Stars ensured over 48 hours on the road on their way from Ibadan to Katsina as the team’s bus developed several breakdown due mechanical fault on the way.
The loss is huge set back for the ambition of the Oluyole Warriors who are eyeing a continental spot as has failed to win any of their last five matches in the NPFL.
They remained in third position with 48 points, after 28 matches, eleven points behind the leader, Remo Stars with a game at hand.
