A member of the technical crew of Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia, Patrick Ngwaogu has declared that the club is ready for the impending season in Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Although controversy is still raging over the kick-off date and number of teams to compete, Ngwaogu told sports247.ng that the Abia State-owned club are ready for the commencement of the new season.
While revealing that changes in the array of players will not be much in the team, Ngwaogu reasoned that continuity will be one of the key areas and strong points for the upcoming campaign.
Ngwaogu added: “Majority of the players who featured for the club last season are still very much available.
“That gives us a strong position for continuity, except for few faces that may be be seen coming in.
“We only want the the LMC to settle all the issues hindering the start of the new season as players and officials of the various clubs in the country are growing frustrated.”
