Kabiru Tijjani, a talented midfielder for Shooting Stars Sports Club, has vowed never to celebrate if he scores against his former club, Enyimba FC.
Tijani, who credits Enyimba for shaping his career, describes the team as having a “special place” in his heart.

“I can’t complete my history without mentioning the club; it’s the club that made my dream come true,” Tijjani said. During his time with Enyimba, he won the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title and competed in both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
Kabiru Tijjani also thanked former Champions League winner Finidi George for his guidance during his time at the club, saying, “Finidi George believed in me and helped me with a lot of things.”
Now a key player for Shooting Stars, Tijjani has his sights set on making history with his new club. “I want to win the league with them; I want to write my name in the club’s history,” he stated.
