Anas Double Lifts Nasarawa Utd Off Bottom
Yusuf Anas scored twice to lift Nasarawa off the bottom of the log on Sunday at the Lafia Stadium when Niger Tornadoes visited.
The two goals took to Anas tally to 13 goals, 5 goals ahead of Rabiu Ali of Kano Pillars who has 8 goals, to lead the goals scorers chart
Heartland FC Pile More Misery On Rivers United
Coach Emmanuel Amunike led Heartland to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Rivers United, piling more misery on coach Finidi George whose team is yet to win any game in the new year after a good run in the first stanza.
The result is also a great ego booster for coach Amunike in the battle of supremacy created by the fans of the former Super Eagles wingers who were once top runners for the Super Eagles job after Jose Peseiro left post vacant.

Rangers FC, Enyimba, Bendel Insurance and Kwara United all secured precious three points on Monday night as Matchday 22 matches were concluded on Monday.
Rangers won their first 3 points after back to back defeats with a 2-0 over Ikorodu City FC with Godwin Obaje and Issac Saviour were the goal scorers.
Enyimba FC secured a hard fought 1-0 victory away to Lobi Stars to return to winning ways after a while in the league.
Ifeanyi Ihemekwede scored the lone goal to take his season tally to five, ironically he scored the winning goal at five minutes to the end of the first half.
Also it was a similar result and win for Bendel Insurance who defeated Katsina United by 1-0 to continue their push out of the relegation waters.
Kwara United also returned to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 victory over El Kanemi Warriors on a Monday night at the Kwara Sports Complex.
