Enyimba’s head coach, Finidi George has said that the club will stick with the current crop of players as he expresses absolute believe in his players in wake of Bendel Insurance 0-1 loss.
Finidi saluted the boys brave fight while also lauding Bendel Insurance display admitting that the Edo based team deserve where they are.
Speaking in his post match pressers, the ex international said of his team performance, “on the overall, my players did so well and I’m proud of them but we have to now get some rest and prepare for the second stanza of the season.”
“We know what they are capable of, a young team who fights for every ball and you can see that they gave thier all.”
“A team coming from a league lower and putting up this fight is commendable, they merit it and if they are up there, it’s for a reason,” he praised Bendel Insurance.
“We all have to go, come back and see how we can pick point in the second half of the competition.”
On need for recruitment, “my team is good and we will stick with what we have but we remain second in the league pending what other results look like and I trust the players because I know that they will deliver.”
