Rangers International Football Club goalkeeper, Detan Ogundare has said that the team is in pole position to contest for the Nigeria Professional Premier League title this season ahead of thier 20222/23 opening game.
The newly recruited shot stoper couldn’t hide his excitement following the league kick off yesterday with the curtain raiser game between Bendel Insurance and Akwa United as the Edo based team claiming all points on the road in an 0-2 result in thier favor, Sports247.ng reports.
“I feel so excited and happy because we have all been waiting for this moment and personally I have been patiently expecting the start because I know I have a lot to showcase to the world especially with my new team Rangers International,” he explained.
“My expectations are high because I believe we are in pole position to contest and win the league because I believe that the NPFL has got a lot to offer the players this season.”
