It was a big and much needed win for Nasarawa United as they dismissed Kwara United by a 2-0 scoreline at their adopted home ground in Jos.
Goals off the boot of King Osanga in the 10th minute of play and in the 54th minute respectively from Chinedu Ohanachom ensured that the maximum points stayed in Jos.
In the second game played at the Patani stadium, Gombe United dashed out all maximum points to George Finidi’s tutored Enyimba international side.
With the win, Enyimba international moved to second position on the log with 13 points from 7 games.
Action continues Sunday across the country, with seven games slated to be played, the game involving Rivers United is on hold due to their continental engagement in CAF confederation cup in far away Congo.
