Rivers United Ebube Duru has revealed that his side will come all out to get maximum points ahead of thier home league clash against visitors, Niger Tornadoes today.
A win will put the winners of the 2021-2022 NPFL top of Group B of the abridged league format.
Speaking ahead of the game, the talisman admitted that it’s going to be a tough one but they are well prepared to face the battle head on, Sports247.ng understands.
“It’s a very tough and important one for us, a win will take us on top of the table and the league is getting tougher, teams are going away to pick maximum points.”
“We know as defending champions, we have to make a statement so I think it’s a very crucial one for us,” he admitted.
“The motivation and awareness coupled with the attitude in camp of the players is so encouraging, everybody are looking forward to the game and we are going to come out strong and get the maximum three points.”
“It’s a big motivation for us, we are not under pressure because we know we are playing at home. Both home and away, we play a very unique style of football, we will come all out to get the three points,” he boasted.
