The Captain of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Daniel Atsaka, has on behalf of his teammates, assured the supporters and Management of the club of a good outing against Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, billed to take place at the new Jos Stadium, in Plateau State on Wednesday.
Atsake gave the assurance when the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Club, Dominic Iorfa, and other management staff visited the team’s camp based in Jos, ahead of the week 2 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The versatile goalkeeper while addressing the club management, acknowledged the tireless support they have received under the Iorfa-led administration in the areas of welfare and accommodation, which according to him, are key components that are vital to their performances.
While appreciating the Dominic Iorfa led Management for the visit and for always working round the clock to create the enabling environment for effective service delivery, the goalkeeper said victory is the only way the team can reciprocate the good deeds and support the players have been receiving from the management and supporters of the club.
In his response on behalf of the management, the Vice Chairman of the club, Dominic Iorfa, praised the players for always putting in their best despite the team’s defeat in the hands of Rivers United in the Week 1 match of the NPFL, with a call on the team to remain focused to secure points on match days which according to him, is the only guarantee for the team to participate in the super six.
The Football administrator commended the work done by the team’s head coach, Mohammed Baba Ganaru, and his entire coaching crew, which according to him, has shaped the player’s performances.
Iorfa reiterated his commitment to repositioning Lobi Stars football to attain enviable heights, given the support of everyone affiliated with the club.
