As the 2021/22 season comes to it’s Crescendo, the league management board has ordered that match day 37 and 38 be played simultaneously at all centres across the federation
This is in a bit to forestall any form of manipulation on match day by teams in gaining advantage over each other as stated in the signed circular made by the league operating officer Salihu Abubakar .
“The matches being played concurrently is in pursuance of fair play and equity as advocated by FIFA to all her members which Nigeria is no expection”.
With Rivers united already declared champion of the 2021/22 season and MFM FC condemned to the lower division when it lost to Lobi Stars in their last game at ijebu ode, the two remaining slots for continental games is still open till the last day while the battle for the three teams to join MFM FC at the lower league can not be said to be over till the final whistle on the last day of the season .
