Kwara United midfielder Afeez Nosiru has declared an operation no mercy for Rivers United in Port Harcourt on Sunday in what is expected to be a tough NPFL clash.
Rivers United will go into this battle against Kwara United with boosted morales having won their first two games so far this term in the top flight and they are occupying the second position on the table.
Kwara United on the other hand recorded an emphatic away win at Plateau United in what was a decent and incredible way for Abdullahi Biffo and his wards to start the season.
The Harmony Boys were supposed to face Enyimba in Ilorin in their second game of the season, but the Aba-based club were excused due to their engagement in the CAF Champions League.
Afeez Nosiru who was unable to play against Plateau United stated clearly that he and his teammates are ready to inflict big defeat on Rivers United in their backyard.
“They were lucky to beat us last season and we are here this time around to correct our mistakes by getting the three points against Rivers United.
“We are ready, agile, and committed to making history this season in the NPFL and I want Kwarans to continue praying for us at home,” Afeez Nosiru told the Kwara United media team.
The 22-year-old also praised the Kwara United coaching crew under Biffo and the management of the club for perfect ways of handling the team so far this season.
