Retired NPFL star, Victor Ezeji has declared that the league is at its best when it comes to league coverage and broadcast.
The NPFL new season has seen matchday 1 broadcast live on tv on different platforms including Redstrike who signed a partnership with the LMC.
Ezeji in an interview says it is exciting to see the league back on tv.
“It’s quite an innovation for the LMC to come up with the NPFL tv platform which now enables the league control its content and to be distributed to fans across the world. It was exciting to see the quality of the production of the first match on NPFL Tv which is an exciting derby and also the fact that the match received the widest possible coverage on four platforms.”
“Nigeria football has never seen this level of broadcast and wide coverage of the domestic league and everyone must work to ensure the success and sustainability of this innovation by LMC.” He concluded.
The former Enyimba striker urged the Government to come in and empower the national television to work with LMC to do more.
“Now it’s time for the Government to come in and empower the NTA to work with LMC to do more. ”
