After spending more than 3 weeks at the top of the clean sheets standings, Chinedu Anozie has finally been displaced from the the number 1 spot.
Anozie had conceded consecutively in the last few games leaving stuck on 5 clean sheets after 10 games.
Leading the pack with 6 now are, Kano Pillars’, Idris Ibrahim and Wikki Tourists’ Stanley Nwabali.
Both goalies kept a clean sheet in week 10 fixtures ti savour points for their teams.
While the two goalies are joint top, Kwara United’s Dele Aiyenugba is also tied with Chinedu Anozie on 5 clean sheets.
Aiyenugba had been impressive for the Harmony Boys and was in goal in their 3-0 thrashing of Dakkada on match day 10.
The battle for golden gloves for this season has gone tougher with so many goalies in sight.
Chinedu Anozie won the golden gloves award last season after keeping 10 Clean sheets before the season was ended abruptly.
