Following his team demolishing of Dakkada on matchday 8, head coach of Rangers International, Salisu Yusuf has charged his team to keep scoring goals in the forthcoming fixtures.
Goals from Israel Abia and Christian Nnaji helped the Flying Antelopes pick their first win since matchday 3 in that victory on Wednesday.
Salisu, speaking with Sports247 during the post-match interview said they had been working hard.
“We feel happy because we had been working on the goal-scoring thing for a while and finally it has begun to show results and I hope we continue to score goals.”
“Nnaji (who scored a brace in the game) has been working really hard, if he keeps scoring like this, he will keep playing week in, week out.” He concluded.
The gaffer also noted that Femi Thomas who started for the first time this season on Wednesday will be in goal for a while.
“Femi will still be in goal. Nana lost his mum so he’s not psychologically stable. He needs a time out so we gave him.”
Rangers moved upwards on the NPFL table after the win and will welcome Warri Wolves at the Cathedral for a matchday 9 clash.
