NPFL 2020/21: Fatai Osho Commends His Players For Winning, Despite Being Fatigued

Following his side’s 2-1 away victory against Adamawa United, Coach of Enyimba International of Aba, Fatai Osho has hailed the efforts of his players for getting the win, despite being fatigued.

The People’s Elephant struggled to a 2-1 win over Adamawa United at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi, where the game was played. Anayo Iwuala and Imo Obot scored for Fatai Osho’s troops, while Idris Abubakar scored a penalty for the hosts.
The win moves Enyimba Fc to third (3rd) position in the League table, amassing 12 points from 6 games played so far in the League.

Speaking with Sports 247 after his side’s victory, Fatai Osho expressed his delight in seeing his team registering their first away victory. He also admitted his concerns about fatigue catching up with his players as well.
“The win brings a lot of Relief. We have not been doing well on the road and getting a win here (in Bauchi), is an inspiration going forward for us”.

“It was a splendid performance and a lot of fatigue also. We were able to fight that. In Midweek, we were in Illorin, playing against Kwara United, a lot of traveling here and there and this took a toll on the players”.

“For them to have struggled and maneuver their way to get the result is quite commendable”, he admitted.

Enyimba will look to build on the momentum of registering their first away win of the league season when they host Katsina United in Aba on Sunday.
