Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC Coach, Tony Bolus was a very happy man after a resounding 3-0 win over Akwa Utd who has just a win in NPFL 2019/20, eight matches, though showed glimpses of title challengers at the beginning of the season.
The Olukoya boys undoubtedly deserve the big win with a 1-0 scoreline before half time and adding two more after the break.
Despite creating a lot of clear cut chances, Akwa Utd failed to convert any coupled with their goal keeper’s error to gift all three goals to the host.
Tony Bolus, the head coach of MFM has stressed that the team’s win was a result of the boys sticking to his tactical plans before the game.
” We forced them to make errors, the boys were all over the pitch and it’s so obvious we were the better team today”.
” Every game is important, we are trying our best not to loose points at home and get maximum points away and that’s what we have done today”.
” We haven’t won with such scoreline in a very long time, we want to score more which will put us in line for the title at the end of the season”, he reiterated.
” We won’t relax with this win, we will go back and see where we need to improve, the season is still so young, we have so much ahead to fight for”, Bolus concluded.
