The news coming out from the camp of the four-time Nigeria Champions and current holders of the National cup, Kano Pillars is not palatable as injury is trying to crippled the club’s chances of winning the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
www.kano-pillars.com was reliably informed by the mouthpiece of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa that more than five senior players of the Sai Masu Gida are out due to different kind of injuries sustained in the course of protecting the club’s colour of Yellow and Green.
Top on the list is David Ebuka, who will be out for the rest of the 2019/2020 NPFL season with a muscle tear and hamstring.
New Boy on the block Rabiu Abbas is also suffering with a hamstring that would take him out for five weeks while left back, Nasiru Sani is out for two weeks after picking up a knock during the NPFL Match Day 11 rescheduled clash against Rangers Int’l of Enugu so also right back, Victor Denis will be out for a week for a shoulder injury sustained against Rivers Utd.
The good news is that Adeshola David, who went for an ankle surgery is responding well to treatment like the rest of the other players as confirmed by the Kano Pillars FC medical team.
In the same vein, Malikawa has said that the team has resumed training on Friday, at the Sani Abacha stadium after three days Fadda’u prayers of the club’s team manager, Kabiru Baleria who died on Tuesday.
The coach Ibrahim A. Musa tutored side would welcome Dakkada FC on Sunday in the Match Day 22 of the ongoing 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League Season.
