Enugu Rangers will turn all their attention on the pending fixtures in the NPFL after crashing out of the CAF confederation cup group stages.
The Salisu Yusuf led team currently sit 18th on the NPFL log and will be aiming to rise from the relegation zone but face a tough battle on Wednesday away from home against title-chasing Lobi Stars who are one point behind league leaders, Plateau United.
With 6 games at hand, Rangers have a realistic chance of moving up the ladder if they get maximum three points from all pending six matches. The bulk of their newly signed players have been confirmed to be involved in the match on Wednesday bringing a spark and freshness into the squad.
Bowing out on a high from the continent after a win at Egypt and a draw at home and unbeaten in the last three league games, Rangers are in momentum that they need to get their season revived.
The other rescheduled match will see defending champions, Enyimba FC battle MFM FC in Lagos on Wednesday. The Elephants who are also in relegation battle sit 19th on the table though have 6 games at hand.
Securing a place in the CAF confederations cup knock-out stages with an emphatic 5-2 win at Ivory Coast, the Aba boys will be oozing with confidence heading into this one although the Fatai Osho led side are winless in three league games dating back to January 5.
Both teams will play their outstanding games at a stretch on Wednesdays between now and the second Wednesday of March as they will feature in the regular weekend schedules.
