Nigerian and Leciester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi says there are no small teams in football anymore.
While speaking on how much task the Super Eagles have ahead of the cumbersome schedule of qualifiers, Ndidi said there are no small teams in football as any team can pull surprises.
‘as I said before, there is no small team in football, when it comes to playing on the pitch, those smaller teams can surprise you’.
Live in an Instagram chat, the 23 year old said the Super Eagles players have to be at their best at all times during the qualifiers.
‘ we have to give all our best, these matches are important to qualify for major competition. The players give their best 100%at club and country’.
The former Genk man who is an integral part of the Eagles played in both 2021 AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho in November.
The Super Eagles still has Qatar 2022 World Cup and 2021 AFCON qualifiers to be played.
