Ex-Nigeria international Nduka Ugbade has told sports247.ng that it will be disastrous for the Super Eagles if the team loses to South Africa on Saturday in an Africa Cup of Nations qualification tie at the 94, 807 capacity FNB stadium in Johannesburg on November 17.
The Eagles had lost to the South Africans in the first leg of the qualifying series 2- 0 in Uyo which came as a rude shock to Nigerians who were yet to witness the team losing to the Bafana Bafana in a competitive match.
The 1994 AFCON winner has also advised the team to be bullish and teach the South Africans a lesson of superiority stating that the team absolutely has no reason to lose to the South Africans again be it home or away.
A draw for the Eagles will be enough to put the team into safety and assure that the mistakes of 2015 and 2017 is not repeated. Nigeria last qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013.
