TradeSafe FC player Marvelous Freedom shared his thoughts after the crucial match between Tradesafe FC and Warri Wolves FC in the Nigeria National League (NNL) fixture. TradeSafe FC emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Warri Wolves.
Expressing gratitude for the hard-earned victory, Marvelous acknowledged the team’s persistent efforts, stating, “We thank God, we have been struggling for this kind of results since and we got it in the last game of the first round of the season, we have been working hard and positive,” He told Sports247.

Reflecting on the match strategy, Marvelous highlighted the importance of securing an early lead and maintaining defensive stability.
“We got the goal in the first half and I told my teammates that if we can’t get another goal we should just sit back and defend the one goal and get the win, that was why I had to put more effort into it,” he explained.
Acknowledging the strength of their opponents, Marvelous emphasized the anticipated challenge posed by Warri Wolves.
Despite the tough competition, TradeSafe FC remained resilient and focused on securing the win. “Our opponent was good too, we expected a tough match.
I have not watched their game before but they have a tough team, tough attackers but I thank God that we were able to secure a win,” Marvelous added.
Looking ahead to the upcoming fixtures, Marvelous affirmed the team’s commitment to further improvement during the break.
“We will now go on the break and prepare harder for the second round of the season,” he concluded, signalling TradeSafe FC’s determination to build on their recent success in the NNL.
