Beyond Limit FC of Ikenne top striker, Kparobo Ariehri has opened up extensively to reveal all factors that helped him score 12 goals this season in the lower cadre Nigerian National League (NNL).
While basking in the euphoria of his lone goal that gave Beyond Limit their second victory of the NNL Super-8 at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu and sealed their promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), Ariehri said he felt on top of the world.
The goal crushed the last string of hope for their south-west rivals, Inter Lagos FC making it to the top-flight, but Ariehri disclosed that it was joy galore for him and everyone at Beyond Limit.
“It’s a great feeling for all of us,” he began, “We are very, very happy. It’s not easy playing in the NNL. We came from the NLO, and now we are promoted to the NPFL. We are very happy.”
Kparobo Ariehri also spoke about his goal against Inter Lagos and his emergence as NNL top scorer in the outgoing season, saying he was thrilled with his achievements.
“I am so glad. I am so happy that I was able to do this for my team. I am so glad that I was able to score 12 goals in this NNL season,” he reflected elatedly.
He then disclosed how it became possible, saying: “Everything is a process, and I find confidence through my coach.
“When I see him on the line, he’s like everything to me. He encourages me a lot. So, I am very happy to see him. My confidence is from him.
“It’s a big thing for me because consistency matters. As far as I am consistent, I believe that I will continue going forward.”
Kparobo Ariehri will get a chance of adding to his goals’ haul when Beyond Limit tango Nasarawa United of Lafia in the NNL Super-8 final to determine the division’s overall winner for 2024.
