NNL SUPER-8 FALL-OUT: Musa Musa Confesses, This Happiness Is Too Much For Me As Nasarawa United Returns To NPFL

Nasarawa United of Lafia dazzler, Musa Musa was short of words after scoring one of the goals that helped his team return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and confessed that he was overwhelmed with happiness.

Apart from scoring first in The Solid Miners’ 2-1 victory over Sporting Supreme FC of Abuja in their last match of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super-8 at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, Musa was also voted as the most valuable player.

The double portion of achievements, plus the possibility of his team being crowned NNL’s overall winners, left the emergent attacker with a surfeit of joy.

Musa admitted he was lost for words and added: “I am very, very happy for this match. The happiness is too much for me, gaskiya.

“I don’t know what to say. I don’t have anything to say except to thank God. I thank God, gaskiya, and I pray that we will win the league.”
As it were, Nasarawa United will now compete in the Nigerian top-flight league next season.

They will be joined by El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, who also got victory over Sokoto United on the last day of the NNL Super-8 on Wednesday.
