This move aligns with the broader trend of bringing Nigerian football leagues to television audiences, as the NPFL recently signed a deal with StarTimes, and the Nkechi Obi-led women’s league is featured on Afro Sports TV.
The NNL season, currently in its Week 4, has received positive feedback from stakeholders who believe that the league is living up to its billing as the “Most Important League” in the nation.
This partnership with Global TV is expected to further enhance the visibility and appeal of the NNL.
