Despite full of hopes that the team will experience a turn around and climb up the lather in the Nigeria National League NNL Southern Conference Group B2 log, captain of FC One Rocket Ugochukwu Obiri saw his side going down again at home 1:0 to fellow bottom table side Cynosure FC at Nest of Champions.
Prio to the game at the weekend against Cynosure FC, Obiri Showered praises on newly appointed interim coach Itoro Xavier Atat as he spoke with the club’s media. He claimed Itoro is doing a good job with the club and With his appointment, greater things are ahead. ” With the little he has given us, I thing the rest of the season will be good for us because since he came, he has been giving us enough”
As Itoro was hopeful, the story was not the same at the weekend as his side fell again, continuing the recent bad form. This was made worse yesterday, no thanks to Sunday Okon’s 6th minute goal from an Uche Bobo’s beautiful assist which sank Obiris team down to the danger zone on the table.
Cynosure has trailed One Rocket for some time now on the log but now have swapped place with One Rocket on the table by gaining a vital three point against them. They currently occupy 10th position with 19 points from 16 games. One Rocket on the other hand have been able to accumulate just 18 points but with an outstanding game.
