In anticipation of the forthcoming season set to kick off on October 28th, the Board of the Nigeria National League (NNL) has taken significant steps to ensure the smooth operation of the league.

In this endeavor, the Board has sanctioned the formation of various standing committees, signifying their commitment to a well-organized and successful season.
The newly formed committees include Disciplinary, Finance, Media, and Technical. Each of these committees will play a pivotal role in different aspects of league administration to maintain the integrity and quality of the NNL.
The Disciplinary Committee will be under the leadership of Yakubu Sarma, with a panel of experienced members that comprises Prince Momoh Muhammed, Emeka Iwuagwu, Barrister Abdul Ibrahim, and Ayo Abdulraham, who will serve as the Secretary.
Their primary responsibility will be to address matters related to player conduct, disputes, and adherence to league regulations.
Emmanuel Attah will take the helm as Chairman of the Finance Committee, supported by Yusuf Baba Abdullahi, Yusuf A. Danjuma, and Ezeocha Nzeh as members, with Abideen Fasasi appointed as the Secretary.
Their role will be crucial in financial planning, budgeting, and overall fiscal management.
Heading the Technical Committee is Donald Ikpe, with Sani Mohammed as Vice Chairman and Diewaight Ikpechukwu as a member.
Nicholas Akujobi will serve as the committee’s Secretary. This committee will oversee matters related to the technical aspects of the league, including player development, coaching standards, and technical infrastructure.
The Media Committee, under the chairmanship of veteran broadcaster Emeka Odikpo, will be accompanied by members Patrick Ngwaogu and Adekunle Salami, with Amar Ignis fulfilling the role of Secretary.

Their focus will be on enhancing media coverage, communication, and public relations, ensuring the league’s visibility and fan engagement.
Ayo Abdulraham, the Chief Operating Officer of the League, expressed that these appointments were made considering the extensive experience and expertise of the selected individuals in the field of football administration.
Their contributions are expected to play a pivotal role in the success of the upcoming NNL season.
